Dear friends,

We are excited to open our 2023 application season! 

Since 2015, we have helped 214 Ukrainian students with modest backgrounds receive education at top boarding schools and colleges worldwide on full scholarships ($50,000,000+ in total). In times of war, it is especially important for Ukrainian youth to have an opportunity to elevate their talents and apply them to help rebuild Ukraine.

Every year Ukraine Global Scholars receives 500+ applications from the most talented, creative, innovative, and active teenagers from all regions of Ukraine. The growing number of our students represents the critical mass of the highly-educated Ukrainians eager to cause meaningful changes in our state and society.

We ask you to reach out to your friends who are:

• a Ukrainian citizen,
• enrolled in a Ukrainian high school (8-11 grades) or taking a gap year,
• strong in academia and has impressive extracurricular achievements,
• from a modest financial background (annual gross family income less than $35K),
• passionate about studying at the world's best institutions and motivated to come back to Ukraine after graduation from college to rebuild the country after the war, 

and encourage them to apply!

We realize that many students have left Ukraine amid the invasion. If you study at a high school abroad and want to attend college through UGS, you are welcome to apply. We will, however, prioritize students who are physically in Ukraine.

Ukraine Global Scholars continue to support our finalists even after the application process, helping them abroad and giving them professional networking opportunities. Our community creates valuable long-term connections among young Ukrainian leaders.
