Since the start of the full-scale invasion, Russian forces killed 6 doctors and 16 more were wounded. Russian army shelled 43 ambulances and 135 hospitals. 9 Ukrainian hospitals have been completely destroyed.
Women and children are being abducted en masse from the territories of Donetsk and Luhansk regions temporarily occupied by the enemy.
As of 10 a.m. on March 22, 2022, according to the Unified Register of Pre-Trial Investigations, 117 children have died and more than 155 children have been injured since the Russian invasion started.
Borys Romanchenko, a former prisoner of Nazi concentration camps, was killed in Kharkiv. He was 96 years old.

The twenty-seventh day of the resistance of the Ukrainian people to the Russian military invasion is ongoing.
The enemy continues to conduct full-scale armed aggression against our state. The tasks set by the criminal military-political leadership of Russian to the group of occupying troops of the armed forces of the Russian federation remain unfulfilled.
Due to the lack of success of the ground phase of the operation, the enemy continues to actively launch missile and bomb strikes on important military and civilian infrastructure using operational and tactical aircraft, high-precision missile weapons and indiscriminate munitions.
The enemy is trying to form and move reserves to the borders of Ukraine. According to the available information, a joint unit of servicemen of several military units is being formed at the permanent deployment point of the 200th separate motorized infantry brigade of the Northern Fleet (Pechenga settlement).
Due to the unsatisfactory level of personnel of the 1st Army Corps in the temporarily occupied territory of Donetsk region, representatives of the Russian federation continue active measures to forcibly mobilize the local population in the cities of Horlivka, Yenakiieve and nearby settlements. After undergoing a rapid training course, the occupiers plan to reinforce heavy casualties the units with near Avdiivka and Izyum.
In the Northern direction, some units of the Central Military District continue to regroup and concentrate forces and means to resume offensive operations.
In the direction of Chernihiv, the enemy is not conducting active offensive operations, continues artillery shelling of positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the city of Chernihiv. No changes in the composition of forces and the nature of the actions of the occupying forces were noted.
In the direction of Brovary, the enemy continues to regroup in order to resume offensive operations. Logistical support of divisions and engineering equipment of occupied positions continues.
Units of the Western Military District did not carry out active offensive operations in the Slobozhansky direction. In the direction of Kharkiv and Izyum, at the expense of separate units of the Baltic and Northern Fleets the enemy is trying to take measures to restore the units that lost their combat capability. Massive artillery shelling of Kharkiv continues.
In the Donetsk direction, the enemy focused its efforts on capturing the cities of Rubizhne, Severodonetsk, Popasna, Vugledar, and Mariupol.
In the area of the settlement of Kreminna the enemy didn't carry out active actions. The forces of the 2nd Army Corp continue to consolidate in the area of the settlement of Pshenichne.
In the area of the settlement of Yampil, a separate unit of the 150th Motorized Rifle Division, the enemy carried out fire on the units of our troops in order to ensure further advance in the direction of the settlement of Torske. The offensive failed.
An attempt to attack was carried out in Donetsk - Mariyinka direction. Enemy, suffered heavy losses. Russian fascists retreated.
The Russian occupiers are trying to carry out artillery shelling and assault operations in the city of Mariupol.
No changes in the composition and position of the enemy are recorded in the Tavriya direction. In the Kherson region, in the areas of the settlements of Kalanchak, Radensk, Brylivka and Tarasivka, Rosguard units carried out measures to search for locations for arms storing.
In the Pivdenny Bug direction, the enemy attempted to carry out assault operations in the area of the settlement of Oleksandrivka, but was unsuccessful. In the area of the settlement of Berezneguvate, Russians conducted reconnaissance in battle, suffered casualties and withdrew.
No significant changes in the position and nature of the actions of the defense forces during the last day have been noted. However, the Armed Forces of Ukraine and other components of the Defense Forces continued to strike at groups of enemy troops who tried to hold the captured frontiers and succeeded in certain areas.
Over the past 24hrs, more than 9 enemy air targets have been hit by units of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the Air Defense of the Land Forces. In particular: 1 plane, 6 UAVs and 2 helicopters, the number of missiles downed is being specified.
In addition, the Air Force aircraft dealt devastating blows to clusters of enemy equipment and manpower, conducted air battles and intercepted air targets. In the last 24 hours the enemy conducted more active actions in Ukrainian airspace.
According to available information, the Russian occupation forces in Ukraine have stockpiles of ammunition and food for no more than three days. The situation is similar with fuel, which is replenished by tank trucks. The occupiers were unable to organize a pipeline to meet the needs of the grouping of troops.
Russian aggressors continue to carry out aggressive propaganda on the need to take part in the war with Ukraine with the personnel of the armed forces of the republic of Belarus.
In the Okhtyrka district of the Sumy oblast, the facts of disobedience of Russian servicemen were recorded. About 300 occupiers refused to carry out the order to conduct hostilities, and, on 70 units of equipment, left the area of the operation.
In the temporarily occupied territories of Luhansk region, due to heavy losses of manpower, the enemy continues to mobilize citizens of the so called "LPR". A large part of the population does not support the policy of the occupiers, does not want to take up arms. It is significant that mobilization is carried out chaotically, the people who are mobilized are not distributed by specialties, most of them have no military specialty. Contracts are signed with citizens who have Russian passports, and those who have only a pseudo-republic passport are registered as volunteers.
In the Donetsk and Luhansk directions, the enemy continues to try to advance and gain a foothold, but to no avail.
Ukrainian defenders repulsed 13 enemy attacks and destroyed 14 tanks, 8 infantry fighting vehicles, 2 multi-purpose towing vehicles light armored, 3 artillery systems and 4 vehicles. Air defense units hit 2 enemy air targets. The losses of enemy personnel amounted to about 300 people.
In addition, the defenders of Mariupol destroyed the patrol boat "Raptor" and the electronic warfare complex "Leer-3".

The city of Chernihiv is on the verge of survival.
The outskirts of the city are completely bombed, the suburbs - by 60%. In addition, half of the population left Chernihiv, and many of the remaining (about 130,000) left are sick and infirm.
There is no electricity in Chernihiv, so there is no water. There is almost no snow left, there is nothing to heat, there are not enough spring stocks (more precisely, it is impossible to provide supply logistics due to constant shelling).
Currently, water is pumped using generators. Then it is delivered to different districts of the city. Water channel workers are working heroically under fire, delivering water to the inhabitants and critical infrastructure facilities, including hospitals, thermal power plants and more. To increase water supply, the city needs additional tanks.
There is no light in the whole city. Gas is very selective, who else is lucky. It is impossible to fix all this - constant shelling. Most of the remaining Chernihiv residents adapted to cooking on fires in their backyards. Under constant fire.
Due to the critical destruction of the infrastructure, spare parts, tools, kits for operation and repair equipment are needed to repair the city's electrical and heating networks.
Exits from Chernihiv to Kyiv are mined. Who risks to leave - "forest paths". They are still struggling to deliver humanitarian aid. After warming weather, these trails will be washed away. The city will remain under absolute blockade.
Torture of civilians by Russian militants is nothing but genocide of the Ukrainian people in accordance with the UN Convention on the Prevention and Punishment of the Crime of Genocide.
The actions of Russian militants to destroy peaceful cities are a gross violation of the Geneva Conventions of August 12, 1949, concerning the protection of victims of international armed conflicts.
I appeal to the International Committee of the Red Cross to take all possible measures to open safe humanitarian corridors in Ukraine for the evacuation of civilians from areas of active hostilities and occupation.
It is impossible to establish the actual number of dead and wounded children due to the fact that the occupying forces are actively fighting in Ukrainian cities.

In the Kharkiv region, a Russian tank shot down a car with a family of two children. The family shouted that they were civilians, waving a white flag, but in vain. Parents and a 9-year-old girl were killed and a 17-year-old boy was injured.
As a result of attack of the village of Konstantinovka of the Nikolaev area area houses were destroyed, under their blockages the burnt bodies of 3 people, among which the 7-year-old child are found.
On March 21, 2022, the occupiers fired on evacuation buses with children from Mariupol. Four children were taken to hospital. Three children came under fire in the Pologi district of the Zaporizhia region, another child - in the village Kamensky. Two children in serious condition.
It became known that on March 19, the russian occupation forces illegally deported 2,389 children to the territory of the Russian Federation, who were in the temporarily occupied districts of Donetsk and Luhansk regions.
The bombings and shelling damaged 548 educational institutions, 72 of which were completely destroyed. In addition, more than 40 children's facilities were destroyed, including medical facilities, art schools, sports facilities, and libraries.
The actions of the Russian occupation forces are a direct violation of the Hague and Geneva Conventions.
Women and children are being forcibly deported en masse from the territories of Donetsk and Luhansk oblasts temporarily occupied by the enemy.
In the settlements where racist troops enter, so-called "humanitarian corridors" are organized for residents to be taken to the aggressor country. Women, children and the elderly are searched, Ukrainian documents, telephones are confiscated and sent to the border regions of the Russian Federation. There they are placed in concentration camps with subsequent movement to depressed regions of Russia for settlement. People left without means of communication with relatives, often without food and basic necessities.
There are currently no data on the number of deported persons. The Office of the Prosecutor General is conducting a pre-trial investigation into the fact of illegal deportation to Russia of 2,389 children from the occupied territories of Donbass.
But the racist press, which tends to distort reality in the direction of exceeding the achievements of aggression, notes about 206 thousand migrants from Donbass.
We can assume the presence of thousands of forcibly deported Donietsk and Luhansk residents from the occupied territories.
Attempts by the racists to create similar "humanitarian borders" to the occupying country were also recorded in Kharkiv, Chernihiv, Sumy, and Kyiv oblasts. The fate of the forcibly deported people is still unknown.
Such actions of the aggressor state are qualified as kidnapping, which is a war crime and a direct violation of Articles 3 and 34 of the Geneva Convention relative to the Protection of Civilian Persons in Time of War, Article 9 of the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights and Article 5 of the European Convention on Human Rights.
I appeal to the international community to take into account the terrorist activities of the aggressor state's troops in determining the limits of sanctions pressure on Russia.
I call on the citizens of Ukraine, do not trust the occupiers! For evacuation, use only officially approved humanitarian corridors announced on the websites of the Ukrainian authorities.

The Russian military continues violating numerous international conventions and attack Red Cross hospitals. Yesterday Ukrainian ambulance brigade, which accompanied the humanitarian convoy, was taken hostage by the occupiers. Fortunately, today's doctors are safe in the territory controlled by Ukraine.
Together with the Office of the First Lady, for more than 3 weeks of the war, 6 convoys with children with cancer were sent abroad. Currently, more than 300 young patients are being treated outside Ukraine.

This morning I spoke with His Holiness Pope Francis and he said very important words: “I understand that you want peace. I understand that you have to protect yourself. Both the servicemen and civilians courageously defend the homeland. Everyone is defending the homeland."
And I replied: "Our people have become this army." They became this army when they saw the trouble the enemy was causing. The devastation it leaves behind. And the huge amount of blood it wants to shed.
When I addressed a rally in Florence and dozens of other European cities a little over a week ago, I asked all Italians, all Europeans to remember the number 79. The number of children killed in Ukraine at that time. Now it's 117. 38 children more during these days. This is the price of the delay.
Delay with pressure on Russia. So that it ends this brutal war. 117 children, thousands of adults. Thousands wounded. Tens of thousands of destroyed families. Hundreds of thousands of ruined destinies. Millions, already millions of abandoned homes. And it all started with one person.
In the occupied areas, murdered families are buried right in the yards of high-rise buildings. In the parks. In mass graves. This is happening today. In 2022. And we know that every next day of the war will take the lives of our children. 117 is not a final number. The Russian invasion will destroy more families and destinies. Unfortunately, the full-scale war continues. Russian missiles, aircraft and artillery do not stop killing. Ukrainian cities are being ruined. Some are almost completely destroyed.
Like Mariupol. You heard of it. Our city on the shore of the Sea of Azov. Where about half a million people lived. Just as in your city of Genoa. I was there. And now there is nothing in Mariupol. Only ruins. Imagine completely burned Genoa. After three weeks of total blockade. Bombing, shelling, which did not stop for a moment. Ruined Genoa, from which people are being evacuated, your wonderful people. On foot, by cars, by buses... Just to get to where it is safe.
I am addressing you from Kyiv, our capital. From a city that is as important to our region as Rome is to the whole world. The origin of the great culture of a great nation is in Kyiv. And now we are on the verge of survival. Kyiv has gone through brutal wars throughout its history. And it deserves, after all the losses and tragedies, to live in peace. As Rome and any other city in our world deserves. But, unfortunately, there is an air alarm in Kyiv every day. Bombs and rockets fall every day.
Near Kyiv, in neighboring towns and districts, there are several groups of Russian troops. Those who kill and torture, rape and kidnap children, destroy and rob. The occupiers take our property to Russia by trucks. The last one who did something like this in Europe were the Nazis. When they invaded other countries.
Russian troops have even mined the sea near our ports. And now it threatens neighboring shores and neighboring countries, because mines can drift by sea to them.
It’s time to do everything possible to ensure peace!
This is a war that Russia has been preparing for a long time. Which one person has been preparing for a long time. One! For decades. Earning crazy money on oil and gas exports and directing them to prepare for war. And not only against Ukraine. Their goal is Europe. Decisive influence on your life, control over your policy, destruction of your values. Not only ours. Democracy, human rights, equality, freedom... The same values as ours.
Ukraine is the gateway to Europe for Russian troops. They want to break in. But barbarism must not pass. Ukrainians were one of the first to come to your aid when you needed it during the COVID pandemic. We sent our doctors. Italians were among the first to come to our aid when our people were affected by the terrible floods.
You supported us - sincerely, quickly. Without asking for anything in return. You are helping us now - we really appreciate it. But still...
The invasion has not stopped in 27 days. Almost a month. So more sanctions are needed, even more pressure, so that Russia is looking not for military reserves or mercenaries somewhere in Libya or Syria, but for peace. So that the same one person is looking for peace. The consequences of this war are already felt in many parts of the world. Not only in Europe. And the worst thing will be famine. Approaching different countries.
Ukraine has always been one of the largest exporters of food. But how can we sow under the blows of Russian artillery? How can we sow when the enemy deliberately mines the fields, destroys fuel bases? We do not know what harvest we will have and whether we’ll be able to export. When our ports are blocked and seized. Corn, vegetable oil, wheat and many other products. Vital goods. For your neighbors as well. Across the sea. Prices are already rising. So how many tens of millions of people will need help? In front of your shores...
You know Ukrainians well. Our people who never wanted to fight. Who are Europeans just like you. You know those who brought war to Ukraine. You know for sure. Those who order to fight. And those who promote it. Almost all of them use Italy. As a place for vacation. So don't be a resort for murderers. Block all their real estate, accounts and yachts - from "Scheherazade" to the smallest ones. Block the assets of all those who have influence in Russia. Let them apply their influence for peace. To be able to come back to you someday. Support greater sanctions against Russia. A complete embargo on trade, starting with oil. Support a ban on entering your ports for Russian ships. So that they feel the price for their aggression and for mining the sea.
There should be no exceptions to the sanctions regime for any Russian bank. Do not allow the food crisis in your neighboring regions. Help us. Stop the killings. Save Ukrainian families.
This war must end as soon as possible. Peace must be restored. Enemy troops must be withdrawn from Ukraine. Demining must be carried out. And reconstruction. Reconstruction of Ukraine after this war. Together with you, together with Italy. Together with Europe. Together - in the European Union.
Before the war, I often visited your country. I appreciate your hospitality, sincerity and sometimes loudness. I saw what family and children mean to you. You have wonderful families; you have wonderful children. What life means to you. I want to thank you for helping the Ukrainians who found a shelter from this war in your country.
Today, there are more than 70,000 of our people in Italy who, unfortunately, had to hide from the war. More than 25 thousand children. And many of them have received warmth in your Italian families. Including in the families present in this hall. The first Ukrainian was born in Italy, whose mother found refuge on your land. Dozens of Ukrainian children with severe shell shock and injuries are being treated by you.
We are grateful to you for that, very grateful! And we are waiting for them to return home. To Ukraine - already peaceful. And you can definitely help us with that.
From the first day of this war, you have shared our pain and are helping sincerely - from the heart. Ukrainians will always remember this. Your warmth, your care and your strength that must stop one person. Just one person for millions to survive.

In Kherson, the occupiers shot at people who peacefully took to the streets without weapons at a rally for their freedom. For our freedom.
The Russian soldiers do not even know what it is like to be free. They were driven here, to be honest, as if sentenced to death and disgrace.
A column of civilians came under fire in the Zaporizhzhia region. Four children were hospitalized, two are in grave condition.
During the day 8 humanitarian corridors worked. Kyiv, Donetsk and Luhansk regions. 8 thousand 57 people were rescued. We also managed to deliver 200 tons of humanitarian aid.
I spoke today with Prime Minister of the Netherlands Rutte and President of France Emanuel Macron.
We are coordinating our positions on the eve of important summits in Europe. Meetings of the G7, leaders of NATO and the European Union will take place on March 24. Our position will definitely sound. It will sound, believe me, firmly.
