New Use Energy is a global leader in innovative mobile power, solar energy, and lithium battery solutions dedicated to creating tough, portable, and reliable energy systems that meet the needs of diverse industries and communities anytime, anywhere. Their commitment to clean energy and social impact aligns seamlessly with USUBC’s mission of fostering partnerships that drive economic growth and recovery in Ukraine.
New Use Energy’s products are ruggedized, silent, and fume free. They can be used outdoors or indoors and charged from a variety of sources. Some are made in NUE’s Ukrainian office in Lviv, Ukraine. NUE is replacing fossil fuel generator use in military and telecommunications applications, hospitals, film and tv sets, humanitarian aid locations, and underserved communities worldwide.
Since the onset of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine, NUE has been at the forefront of providing portable solar generator systems to meet critical energy needs in conflict-affected areas. “We are honored to join the USUBC and contribute to Ukraine’s pursuit of victory and peace and to build sustainable energy resilience and recovery,” said Paul Shmotolokha, CEO of New Use Energy. “Our mission is to deliver reliable energy wherever it is most needed and in the most challenging environments. We are proud to empower Ukrainian military units, hospitals and communities. In our Ukraine facility, we design and build one of the most powerful yet portable professional grade solar battery generators available that can also function as uninterruptible power supplies that protect critical medical and communications equipment from damage from unstable grids. Ukraine is strategic for NUE as we are starting to apply lessons learned with the military to the US market”
The addition of NUE to the USUBC underscores the importance of sustainable innovation in Ukraine’s recovery and reconstruction. “New Use Energy’s expertise and dedication to providing renewable energy solutions are invaluable to Ukraine as it rebuilds its infrastructure and strengthens its communities,” said Irina Paliashvili, Acting President of USUBC. “Their commitment to humanitarian support and clean energy exemplifies the kind of leadership and partnership that USUBC members bring to Ukraine.”
As a new member of USUBC, NUE’s presence will further enhance collaboration and opportunities within the Council’s extensive network. Together, we look forward to advancing energy security, sustainability, and economic development in Ukraine and beyond.
