Velta LLC, a leading Ukrainian producer of high-grade titanium feedstock, announces that its U.S. branch, Velta US Inc., has created a Board of Advisors to help strengthen the Company’s position in the U.S. market. Velta, which occupies 2% of the global titanium feedstock market, seeks both to expand its existing customer base and to create new strategic partnerships in the United States based on ethical and sustainable mining principles.

Velta is pleased to announce that Matthew H. Murray has agreed to join Velta US Inc as the first member of the Board of Advisors, and to oversee the development of the company’s strategic vision and partnerships for the U.S market.

Matthew Murray is currently the Managing Member of Sovereign Ventures, LLC, a U.S. advisory firm that partners with entrepreneurs in science, engineering, cybersecurity, artificial intelligence and other sectors to create ethical organizations and technology innovations to surmount critical public policy challenges. From 2012 to 2017, Mr. Murray served the Obama Administration as Deputy Assistant Secretary for Europe, the Middle East, and Africa at the U.S. Department of Commerce and as Senior Advisor on Governance and Rule of Law at the U.S. Agency for International Development.

For the past 10 years, led by CEO Andriy Brodsky Velta has been providing stable supplies of its feedstock around the world to the companies, who use the unique properties of titanium in their products, including some long-term U.S. customers. Velta's deposits in central Ukraine are among the most productive in Europe, containing up to 60% TiO2.

Velta is a member of the U.S. Ukraine Business Council, a business association founded in 1995 to advocate for measures to improve conditions for U.S.-Ukraine bilateral trade and investment.
