On July 11 – the Business Ombudsman Council of Ukraine (BOC) and the Union of Ukrainian Entrepreneurs (SUP), in partnership with USUBC, co-hosted a business forum on Partners in Progress: Ukraine’s Private Sector Response.

The event brought together leading voices from business, government and civil society to explore the role of the private sector in Ukraine’s reconstruction and long-term growth.

The event’s two panels addressed core challenges facing both domestic and international investors, while highlighting the importance of cross-sectoral cooperation in unlocking Ukraine’s full economic potential. The conversation focused on practical solutions for improving the investment and procurement and environment and explored how to attract the U.S., European and international investors, facilitate their collaboration with Ukrainian entrepreneurs and respond to the expectations of foreign businesses seeking to enter or expand in Ukraine’s market.

USUBC was pleased to join this impactful dialogue, with Irina Paliashvili, USUBC President & CEO delivering welcoming remarks, Eric Luhmann, Chair of the USUBC Executive Committee, speaking and Greg Fishman, USUBC Secretary/Treasurer moderating the second panel. The goals promoted at the event – fostering public-private partnerships, promoting transparent and resilient business conditions and supporting Ukraine’s path toward economic revival and global market integration, strongly align with USUBC’s mission and activities.

The discussions were followed by a networking reception, with another outstanding  performance by the Cultural Forces – a group of Ukraine’s defenders who are also professional musicians, and who use their talent to share Ukrainian culture and resilience through music, poetry, and storytelling.
